Under normal production conditions, cold-forming operations require approximately 10 seconds per workpiece, while thermal bending typically takes around 120 seconds per component, depending on material grade and workpiece dimensions. Thermal forming is initiated once the material reaches approximately 800°C (red-hot condition), with process parameters adjusted according to material characteristics and specified bending requirements.
8. For thermal bending operations, operators preset the required processing parameters and activate the cycle using either the start button or foot pedal. The machine then automatically performs the complete processing sequence, including material positioning within the heating area, induction heating, heating unit withdrawal, workpiece clamping and forming, ram return, and finished-part unloading.
9. When operating in combined thermal and cold-forming mode, production can commence immediately after parameter configuration. The forming ram is not required to return to its original position; instead, the lower forming die automatically rises to create approximately 100 mm of clearance for convenient workpiece removal. This optimized process significantly improves productivity and reduces overall cycle time.
